Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PDF Editor (the "Service"), operated by Sophisoft LLC. By using the Service you agree to them.

1. The Service

PDF Editor lets you edit, sign, organize and convert documents in your web browser. Editing is free and does not require an account. Downloading finished files requires signing in with Google and, after your free download, a paid plan.

2. Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity under it. One free download of a one-page document is available per account. Creating multiple accounts to get more free downloads is not allowed.

3. Plans and billing

Current plans and prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Prices are in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe.

• Daily pass — a one-time payment for 24 hours of unlimited downloads. It does not renew.
• 7-day trial — a one-time trial fee for 7 days of access. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically becomes a monthly subscription at the monthly price shown at checkout, billed every month until you cancel.
• Monthly and Annual subscriptions — renew automatically at the end of each period at the price shown at checkout, until you cancel.

The exact amount charged today and the renewal amount and date are shown before you pay.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from your account menu ("Manage subscription") or by emailing support@sophisoft.pro. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for and are not charged again.

5. Refunds

If you were charged in error or forgot to cancel a renewal, contact us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it if you have not used the Service since that charge. Where the law of your country gives you additional refund rights, those rights apply.

6. Acceptable use

You may only use the Service with documents you have the right to use. You must not use it to forge signatures or documents, commit fraud, infringe others' rights, or break the law, and you must not attempt to bypass payment, overload or attack the Service.

7. Your content

Your documents remain yours. They are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for keeping your own copies.

8. Signatures

Signatures added with the Service are images placed on the document. They are not certificate-based digital signatures. Whether such a signature is legally valid for your purpose is your responsibility.

9. Conversions and availability

Conversions to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and images aim to be accurate but may not perfectly reproduce every document. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and may change or be interrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sophisoft LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or documents. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Changes to prices never affect a period you have already paid for, and we will notify subscribers before a new price applies to their renewal.
